Staying Focused
Be not be afraid and don't you walk in fear
Spend time in my word and be quick to hear
Take no thought for your life; what you are going to do
I have brought you this far and I will lead you through
Life is not about gaining things in what you can acquire
It's about knowing me and being filled with Holy Ghost and fire
If you lose your hunger and also your thirst to follow after me
You may gain many things in life but you will never be spiritually free
Don't just focus on the things that will bring you material wealth
The most important thing in your life is for you to obtain spiritual health
Many have followed the path that seemeth right unto man
But the end results was a weary, dry and thirsty land.
It's easy to be deceived when you take your eyes off of me
When you only follow the things that your eyes can see.
Abraham gave Lot a choice and Lot chose the land where the grass was green
He was following his own greed because he was moved by what he had seen
He did not realize that wickedness was just over the hill that he crossed
Until it was too late because what he ultimately try to gain he lost
When you make a decision; make sure to pray it out from your heart inside
Because the Holy Spirit knows everything that you cannot see on the other side
So walk before me and be upright as you follow me in all of my ways
Then you will always have my blessings because you have followed me all your days
