The Wise Man and His Household

The wise man built his house on the hearing and the doing of the word.
He and his family stood strong because he had taken heed to what he had heard
When the rains came, the flood came and the wind blew; they withstood them all
Because His house was well built on solid ground and it did not fall
God is always looking for a man who will watch over his household the right way
Who would train his children to follow God; teaching them to submit and to obey
Many families are destroyed because their children are not doing what they are told
The man who was once a wise man is now a foolish man because he lost control
His house is no longer built on the rock but now it is built on sinking sand
The enemy took control and brought division because now he knows he can
You may say! I don’t understand I love my children. What did I do wrong?
It is because you let them have their own way and lost control in your home
The Word of God says to train them in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart
But if you never disciplined them while they are young in the love of God then you are not doing your part
If you see rebellion rise up in them and they refuse to listen or to obey you
Then you need to take you place and discipline them because this is what God expects you to do
When there is no discipline for the child; he or she will one day will not be at home
And when they leave without love and authority given to them; they will be all alone
But it doesn’t have to be that way because you can make a change
By building you house on the rock by putting your house in order and re-arrange
