We are Not Going Down Into the Night

We are Americans and we will not go down into the night

As a Christian nation we will always win every faith fight

Through wrong leadership America have had a major interruption

But God is turning things around and getting rid of corruption

It may not look like it but little by little he is turning things around

And putting America back in its place for it is standing on solid ground

We will continue to fight for our liberty because in God we trust

We will not turn back and quit because in God’s protection we entrust

We may be knocked down but not out for in God we take command

For we will violently fight the good fight of faith and continue to stand

We refuse to let the devil reside here and let him have his own way

For we are standing on God’s Word and he will have to obey

If you are spiritually down then get back up and fight

Don’t you dare give up by going down into the night

It is not easy because of the things that you are going through

But as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death; God is with you

He will hold you up with the right hand of his righteousness

Because you belong to him for he is the Lord of faithfulness

He will not let the enemy destroy you as in him you rely

For you will overcome this attack and shall live and not die

So let the heavens rejoice and let the people on earth proclaim

That Jesus is Lord of all and victory is yours in Jesus name
