When Things Haven’t Gone Your Way
If you are lonely and discouraged and don't know what to do,
It is only temporary. God is still with you to help you make it through
Your plans didn't turn out the way you thought they would
But God has greater plans for you that are exceedingly blessed and good
During this times in your life when you have lost your song
God is still with you to give you strength when everything went wrong
God has blessings in store for you, so keeping pressing on
He is still working things out and will give you a brand new song.
The most important thing in your life is to give God complete control
Then you will become sensitive to his voice and will know which way to go
Maintain your focus on the Word of God and you will see
That God is at work for you according to what you believe
He works with your faith as you put your trust in him
Even when things look impossible, dark and dim
God specializes in your impossibilities for He knows exactly what to do
He is the God who is more than enough and will work things out for you
Keep your eyes on Him instead of trying to figure things out on your own
Remember who God is for He said that He will never leave you alone
Don’t get in a hurry, just take one step and one day at a time
He brought you out before and He will do it again. You won’t be left behind
One day you will look back and say, “Look what the Lord has done.”
Because you kept God in your life and things were rearranged and redone
