A Psalm of Protection

I will meditate in thy precepts day and night

I refuse to be afraid of the darkness for I will walk in the light

Worry and oppression is far from me; for in God I will put my trust

He will always take care of me for he is faithful and just

Whom shall I be afraid and whom shall I fear?

For God is my rock and fortress and he will protect me no matter what may appear

When my enemies come against me to try my faith and cause it to sway

I speak the Word and the Name of Jesus against them to drive them out of my way

I am a partaker of God's goodness in the midst of trials and tribulation

Because I'm standing on the rock, a safe place a sure foundation

I will lift up my voice to the God of my salvation, to the one I love and adore

For he alone is worthy of my praise and my worship, for he alone is Lord

I take great comfort knowing that I can trust and rely on his word

When I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I remember what I heard

For it is written in God’s Word that he will never leave me nor forsake me

Therefore my mouth is filled with laughter and my tongue is filled with singing for I am blessed and free

God will never let me down because I put my trust in him and in him I believe

I have favor with God and He will turn everything around and soon with my eyes I will see

He delivered me from sickness and disease and cleansed me from my sin

No matter what I go through today, God is the same God and he will deliver me again

I have learned in every situation that in him I will always be content and at peace

For God has given his angels charge over me to keep me and to bring me joy and increase

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation and with my hands up raised

I will glorify him with a heart of Thanksgiving and he will inhabit my praise

I will rejoice in the Lord always for he is the only true God who is Mighty and strong

For he is high and lifted up and his train fills the temple and in his presence is where I belong

Therefore I will not worry and I will not be filled with doubt

For I know that God is with me and he will always bring me out
