God Was With David and Is With You Too

No matter what you face in life, God will take care of you

As long as you keep trusting him, he will always bring you through

David came against Goliath with five stones and a sling

His faith was in the Lord, for in his promises he would always cling

David already experienced the strength of God because he slew a lion and a bear

David was a man after God's own heart. Every time he needed God, he was there

David was a psalmist and he would always give God worship and praise

Because of his love toward God, He blessed him in all of his days

God led David, instructed him, and kept him as the apple of his eye

He will also do the same for you and will respond to your every cry

Many heroes located in the hall of faith had flaws in their life and did wrong

God's grace was upon them and when they were weak, they became strong

Without God in your life you will always be defeated and weak

But you are not without him, so encourage yourself in faith and speak

God is not a respecter of persons, so he will use you too

When you realize by God’s grace he will also do mighty works through you

If you willingly submit your will to God, the power of his grace will carry you on

All of God's blessings will be at your disposal and will manifest where they belong

God is watching over you, as he did in the past so maintain your faith in him today

Don't dwell on past failures for God will always be with you along life’s highway

God has not forgotten about you for he will complete what he has begun in you.

Your future is bright, and God is not done with you yet for there are more things for you to do
