Don’t Let Fear Control You
If you don't control fear then fear will control you
Faith will be hindered and blessings will not come through
You will become weak when fear continues to keep you bound
This is how faith is hindered when you are discouraged and down
Don't be controlled by fear because fear will torment
It did not come from heaven because from hell it was sent
Fear is a spirit that wants to confuse you with negative thoughts in your mind
But don’t you entertain them, you can cast them out every time
What fear will do TO you, Faith will do FOR you
Keep the switch of faith turned on and you will always make it through
God responds to faith and the enemy responds to fear
Faith and fear comes by hearing, so take heed to what you hear
Feed on God’s Word and your mind will be transformed
And when troubles comes your way, you will not be alarmed
Hold fast to what you believe no matter what may appear
Refuse to walk in doubt and refuse to walk in fear
God is still working behind scenes even though you can’t see
He is still working things out when you continue to believe
Don’t be discouraged and give up on your faith when things look bleak
It’s all going to turn in your favor as long as God and His Word you seek
Settle down and control your thoughts and don’t entertain fear
Because God is on your side and Jesus your Shepherd is here
So encourage yourself today because in God you can always rely
That He is more than enough to take care of you because He is El Shaddai
