Joy is of the heart and not of the mind

It comes from the Heavenly Father through Jesus, the true vine

It is Joy in the Holy Ghost that gives you strength to sustain

A supernatural peace that will dwell in your heart to remain

Count your faith all joy when temptations come your way

It will keep you spiritually strong and steady from going stray

Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit that is given to the inner man

It flows like a mighty river by the Holy Spirit throughout the land

In God's presence there is fullness of joy that will give you daily peace

And as you spend time there, it will bring you a supernatural increase

It is the Word of God that gives you joy and a rejoicing of the heart

It is Joy unspeakable and full of glory that will never depart

In the world there will be much tribulation and fear

But fear thou not because you can still shout and be full of cheer

It is having Joy in the Holy Ghost that will give you strength to supersede

It encourages you not to be moved by circumstances, by what you see

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver them out of   them all

When you remain strong in faith and joy, then you will rise up every time you fall 

During the time of darkness there will be an increase of Holy Ghost joy

It will be a great move of God where the enemy will not be able to stop or destroy

If you want to have an Awakening of the joy of the Lord in your heart

Then be filled with Holy Ghost and power, for this is where you start

So take heed to what you have heard and your life will become refreshed and new

And you will experience the joy of the Holy Ghost like a river flowing out of you
