Consider the Ant

Consider the Ant

October 5, 2021

Look at an ant. Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two.

Nobody has to tell it what to do.  All summer it stores up food to carry it through

Consider their ways, learn wisdom and be wise during the times of tribulation

They have been busy preparing themselves and are able to handle any situation

In summertime they store their food supply and in winter they are blessed

Because they have more than enough to sustain them so now they can rest

They have no guide, leader, overseer, captain, chief or guide

They all work together staying busy helping each other to provide

How long are you going to sit back and just watch and not receive more but less?

You can expect a spirit of poverty to come in and be your permanent houseguest

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep

So shall poverty come because without preparation the harvest will not be reaped.

Take a lesson from the ants, Learn from their ways and become wise!

Don’t become weary in well doing so get busy and don’t compromise

Get back into action and watch God bring blessings to you

Because you have received wisdom from the ants and have learned a thing or two
